Requirements and Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota LPN License, active and in good standing
Current CPR and AED certification
Demonstrated experience with pediatric or school-based nursing (including special education or home health cases)
Willingness and ability to ride the school bus to and from the student’s home to school daily
Comfortable developing, executing, and documenting individualized healthcare plans for students with disabilities
Strong commitment to the safety and wellbeing of high-need students, delivering attentive and comprehensive care
Availability for a pre-assignment virtual or in-person interview
Reliable documentation and communication skills, with a professional, supportive approach

Core Responsibilities:

Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year
1:1 care for a designated student, monitoring health status and delivering nursing interventions as required
Maintain thorough daily documentation of care, communicating regularly with school staff and guardians as needed
Participate in all student transportation, ensuring continuity and safety to and from home and school
Collaborate with educators and related service providers to support the student’s overall experience
