Qualifications   

  • Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
    • Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 30 days   
  • Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)   
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required   
  • Must have reliable transportation

Any patient 16 weeks pregnant or greater to 6 weeks post-partum is seen in OB Triage. Patients are seen for various complaints as well as for iron/blood infusions, and Rhogam injections. Experience Required 1 year minimum Labor & Delivery experience as an RN required. Education Requirements Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing. License/Certification Requirements Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse); Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS). First Pre-Admission Testing, located in 3 Cooper calls to review a patient’s health information prior to a surgical procedure. Once approval for the recommended surgical procedure is finalized and patient information is reviewed the patient is provided with information on when and where to report. Once arrived and registered the patient is escorted to the appropriate location to be prepped for surgical procedure. These RN’s prep the patient for the procedure. They review medical history, medical procedures and place an IV. Patients are met by Anesthesia and their Surgeon. Once everything is reviewed and verified the patient then goes to the OR.
