Summary:
Coordinates the daily nursing and clinical activities of the family practice center.
Ensures that all regulatory requirements are met while maintaining the optimum quality of patient care is delivered in a cost effective manner.
Position Responsibilities:
• Assumes overall managerial responsibilities for assigned clinical areas within the practice.
• Responsible for nursing staff development and in-service programs.
• Maintains current clinical skills, including but not limited to telephone and in person Triage, patient assessments, administering medications, patient education, performing diagnostic tests including EKG, pulmonary function tests, lab certifications, staff scheduling/coverage for scheduled office hours of operation.
• Issues and maintains inventory and supplies.
• Supervises the coordination & update of health education resources.
• Supervises outpatient lab services.
• Coordinates Physician Nursing Home and Home Visits Patients.
• Quality Improvement Audits/Projects as assigned.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
5 years RN experience required.
2 years recent practice office and management experience.
Experience in resident education is preferred.
Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or Bachelor’s in related field preferred but not required.
Training/Certifications/Licensure:
Current NJ RN License.
Current CPR certification.
