Registered Nurse (RN) Manager - Emergency Room (ER) - Kings Mills Hospital

Job Summary:

Assumes 24-hour responsibility for supervising and coordinating the administrative and operational activities in the assigned areas. Collaborates with ancillary and interdisciplinary teams to develop goals and objectives based on analysis of clinical data to improve patient outcomes and create a culture of excellence. Responsible for achieving targeted KPIs and identified outcomes at the unit level. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provides daily operational oversight, management, and clinical support to the health care team.  
  • Serves as a professional role model, mentor, and clinical resource.  
  • Responsible for personal and professional growth as well as fostering an environment where interdisciplinary team members can contribute to optimal patient outcomes and grow professionally.  
  • Responsible for modeling core cultural and safety behaviors to eliminate preventable harm and implement high reliability principles.  
  • Responsible for meeting productivity targets for assigned department.

Education:

  • ​​​Bachelor of Science Nursing (required)

Required Licensing & Certifications:
