Job Summary
Are you an RN who enjoys building patient relationships, providing hands-on care, and working in a collaborative outpatient setting? We are seeking a full-time, 36-hour Registered Nurse to join our Allergy team at 1 Parkway in Haverhill and 260 Merrimac Street in Newburyport. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a dedicated care team focused on safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.Schedule and Location
This is a full-time, 36-hour position. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The position is based in Haverhill on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and in Newburyport on Thursdays and Fridays.
What You’ll Do
As an Allergy Nurse, you will provide direct, face-to-face patient care in an outpatient setting. Your work will include administering injections, conducting skin testing, supporting procedures, educating patients and families, and partnering closely with providers and care team members to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care and support to patients in the ambulatory setting.
• Conduct patient assessments, assist with care planning, and support outpatient procedures with a focus on safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and injections, perform allergy testing, and document care accurately in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Follow infection control protocols and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Active Registered Nurse license required.
- Basic Life Support certification preferred.
- Clinical nursing experience required; ambulatory care or outpatient experience preferred.
