Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The Resource Team provides clinical and nursing support and encompasses a broad skill set that enables members to float to various areas in the hospital or clinic. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to support physician staff within this high-intensity unit by delivering quality nursing care within the Resource Team and coordinating care planning with other disciplines as needed. We are looking for someone with strong patient care and communication skills, willingness to work in a team-oriented atmosphere and a commitment to our vision of delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS); if applicable Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR card. Two (2) years of recent registered nurse experience in an acute care setting in at least two (2) specialty departments.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field. Ability to float to at least three (3) specialty departments. Minimum one (1) year experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred. ICU only - one (1) year ICU/CCU nursing experience preferred.
