Glendive Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team at Gabert Clinic. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, collaborating with providers, and contributing to a positive healthcare experience in a busy outpatient setting.
As a valued member of our clinic team, you'll help ensure patients receive compassionate, high-quality care from check-in through follow-up.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and prepare patients for appointments and procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information
- Assist providers during examinations and treatments
- Administer medications as permitted by certification and clinic protocols
- Perform basic clinical procedures such as dressing changes and suture or staple removal
- Collect laboratory specimens and assist with related testing processes
- Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record (EHR)
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members
- Support clinic operations while maintaining patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
- Frequent computer use and patient interaction
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
