RN Starting Wage: $31.63+/hour (based on experience) + PRN Differential
LPN Starting Wage: $26.14+/hour (based on experience and internal equity) + PRN Differential

Glendive Medical Center is looking for licensed nurses to support our Extended Care Department on a PRN basis. This position offers scheduling flexibility while providing the opportunity to deliver high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting.
As a PRN nurse, you'll become part of a team dedicated to promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life for those we serve.
Position Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide professional nursing care tailored to individual resident needs
- Evaluate resident conditions and communicate changes to providers and care team members
- Administer medications, treatments, and other prescribed interventions
- Assist with developing, updating, and implementing resident care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support and mentor nursing assistants and other direct care staff
- Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation
- Promote a safe environment by following infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards
- LPNs practice under the supervision of an RN
Qualifications
Required
- Current Montana RN or LPN license, or applicable Compact license
- Current BLS certification
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing
- Experience working with electronic medical records
PRN Commitment
To remain active in PRN status, team members are expected to:
- Work a minimum of one shift every three months
- Maintain required licensure and certifications
- Participate in additional shifts as available and mutually agreed upon
