Key Qualifications:

Current, active LPN license in Georgia
Previous experience providing 1:1 nursing care, especially within a school environment
Proficient in g-tube feeding, oxygen administration, seizure care and precautions, oral suctioning, medication administration, monitoring vitals, and asthma management
Reliable transportation for meeting the student at home and accompanying on bus rides to and from school
Compassionate, patient, and able to adapt to changing needs

Role Responsibilities:

Begin each morning at the students residence and safely support bus transportation to and from school
Administer daily care routines including g-tube feedings, monitoring for seizures, medication, and respiratory support as needed
Remain vigilant for any changes in condition, provide necessary intervention, and maintain thorough records according to care plans and physician orders
Foster a safe, reassuring presence for the student both at school and in transit
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to deliver comprehensive care aligned with the IEP
