Job Summary:

Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center is seeking an experienced and passionate RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS) to join our dynamic care team. As a key member of our management team, the ADNS will assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing services department. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive hourly range of $50- $55. Salaried role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Services department

  • Meet the clinical needs of all residents

  • Assist with maintaining, reviewing, and developing clinical policies and procedures

  • Ensure that Nursing policies and procedures are followed

  • Monitor and review staffing needs, schedules, and work assignments

  • Oversee the certification of nursing assistants and track required in-service hours yearly

  • Ensure proper medication administration, handling, storage, and auditing

  • Participate in surveys and inspections by government agencies and implement plans of correction for deficiencies

  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN or RN in this state

  • Minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; B.S.N. preferred

  • CPR certified

  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility
