Compensation & Benefits
$70.91/hour base rate
$5.09/hour Health & Welfare (H&W)
80 hours PTO (accrued annually)
56 hours Sick Leave (accrued annually)

Key Responsibilities:
· Operates/monitors/manages patient care requiring highly complex technical equipment and interventions
· Responsible for direct patient care and coordinates with interdisciplinary personnel for additional patient care activities.
· Use and instruct others in the use of simple and specialized equipment appropriate to the clinical area.
· Use appropriate interview and observations skills to obtain pertinent patient information.
· Communicate patient’s progress to patients, families, and members of the health care team.
· Teach and inform patients and families about disease processes, pre and postoperative care, diagnostic procedures, equipment in use, health maintenance, illness prevention, and actual and potential adverse reactions to medications.
· Be able to recognize and respond appropriately to any changes in a patient’s Condition.
· Administer simple and complex medications via oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, topical, rectal, respiratory and intravenous routes, and make interdisciplinary referrals.
· Perform treatments as ordered using aseptic technique and assist with procedures when necessary.
· Maintain clinical competency and increase knowledge by attending in services and continuing education programs and obtain laboratory specimens needed to include venipuncture.
· Operate emergency resuscitative equipment.
· Assess pre, inter and post-operative progress of the patient, identify deviations from the expected outcomes, and respond with appropriate action.
Minimum Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Must be a U.S Citizen
Minimum Level of Education
Associates Degree of Nursing (or higher) Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN),the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Equivalency Determination Request: The Contractor may not request an equivalency determination as a substitute for education requirements on this labor category.
Must hold current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Must have and maintain current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Online certification is unacceptable.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the last two (2) years after graduation, working as an Operating Room RN.)
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
