We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Unit Manager to join nursing & rehab center. The Unit Manager will play a crucial role in leading and coordinating the delivery of resident care services on their assigned unit.

 

Unit Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned unit, including staffing, resident care, and regulatory compliance.

  • Supervise and support nursing staff, including LPNs, RNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), to ensure the highest standards of care.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.

  • Monitor resident assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, address concerns, and ensure quality of care.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering a positive work environment and professional growth opportunities.

Unit Manager Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Our patient population consists of patients on target temperature management post cardiac arrest; STEMI patients who sometimes require intra-aortic balloon pumps, PA catheters or transvenous pacemakers; those with acute lung disease processes requiring mechanical ventilation; drug overdoses needing close monitoring and sometimes mechanical ventilation; post-op esophagectomies and occasionally post-op VATS patients; acute CVA’s requiring TPA; and, septic/multisystem organ failure patients needing vasoactive IV medications and supportive care.
