Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
Current, active, unrestricted North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current CPR Certification
Minimum one (1) year of Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience preferred
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care according to each resident's individualized plan of care.
Administer medications, perform comprehensive nursing assessments, provide wound care, and complete accurate clinical documentation.
Supervise Nursing Assistants and support exceptional resident care.
Monitor residents' conditions and promptly notify physicians of any significant changes.
Ensure compliance with CMS, state, federal, and facility regulations.

Education And Credentials: Required: Graduate of accredited nursing program. Current NC RN license or licensure from Nursing Compact State. BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date.
