RN Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
Assess residents and monitor changes in condition.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians, supervisors, residents, and families as appropriate.
Coordinate care with CNAs, LPNs/LVNs, physicians, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Respond appropriately to resident emergencies and changing clinical needs.
Participate in care planning and follow established infection-control and safety procedures.
Provide compassionate, respectful care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy.
Supervise and support nursing staff as assigned during the shift.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing is preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound nursing judgments.
Reliable attendance and ability to work the NOC/night shift.
Commitment to resident-centered care and teamwork.
