Complete Care at Home is seeking an energetic, dependable, and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a unique full-time Community Access Individual (CAI) position serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the Marietta area.
This is not your typical CNA/PCA position!
As a Community Access CNA/PCA, you will work one-on-one with multiple individuals throughout the week, helping them get out into the community, participate in activities they enjoy, build independence, and develop social and everyday life skills.
Community outings may include:
Restaurants and dining
Movies
Shopping
Parks and outdoor activities
Sporting events
The zoo, museums, and local attractions
Community events
Recreational activities
Exploring new hobbies and interests
Practicing everyday skills within the community

Pay & Schedule
$20 per hour
Full-Time
Approximately 40 hours per week
Serving multiple individuals in the Marietta area, including individuals residing at our Marietta group home
Schedule may include daytime, evening, and weekend activities based on individual needs and planned outings
Consistent caseload coordinated by Complete Care at Home
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one Community Access support to individuals with I/DD
Accompany individuals on community outings and recreational activities
Encourage community participation, socialization, and independence
Help individuals develop social, communication, and everyday life skills
Assist with shopping, purchasing, money management, and use of community resources
Help individuals identify and participate in activities based on their interests and goals
Promote independence while providing appropriate supervision and support
Assist with personal care and other CNA/PCA-related needs when necessary
Follow each individual's Individual Service Plan (ISP) and Community Access goals
Maintain accurate documentation of activities, services, and individual progress
Communicate with supervisors and members of the individual's care team
Maintain each individual's health, safety, dignity, and choice while in the community
Transportation Requirements
Driving and transporting individuals is an essential part of this position.
A company vehicle is available when providing Community Access services to individuals residing at our Marietta group home.
For other individuals on your caseload, you will be expected to use your personal vehicle to transport individuals to and from community activities.
A wheelchair-accessible or specialized vehicle is not required.
Applicants must have:
Valid driver's license
Reliable personal vehicle
Ability and willingness to transport clients in their personal vehicle
Ability to meet Complete Care at Home's driving requirements
Qualifications
CPR & First Aid Certification required
Valid driver's license required
Reliable personal transportation required
Must be comfortable transporting individuals in personal vehicle
Prior caregiving experience required
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred
Must be comfortable working independently in community settings
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must successfully complete required background, drug, TB, and driving screenings
