Director of Nursing will play a vital role in developing and implementing our care plans, overseeing staff education and training, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

Provide clinical leadership to our interdisciplinary care team, including registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and certified nursing assistants
Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
Oversee staff education and training, ensuring that all employees are equipped to provide high-quality care
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including HIPAA and survey readiness
Collaborate with other departments, including administration, social services, and activities, to coordinate patient care and services
Perform routine rounds to ensure that our residents are receiving the highest level of care

Requirements:

Current RN license in the State of Texas

Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Level 2 (in addition to level 1 requirements): 3-5 years nursing experience. Oncology certification preferred. Level Sr (in addition to level 1 and 2 requirements): Five years nursing experience.
