Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding.� Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.�

Position Highlights:

See patients 18 and older who meet Medicaid requirements and reside in St. Clair County
Provide wellness checkups, non-emergency chronic illness care, lab and radiology testing, specialist referrals
Work with services such as CMH, specialists, patient guardians, adult foster care staff
See a high volume of patients with limited transportation, under/unemployment, mental health diagnosis, and substance use

Compensation/Benefits:

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

MSN with specialization as an ARNP.

Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.

BLS upon hire and maintain current.
