Schedule: Monday-Friday Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN), manages all aspects of research protocols and clinical trials as directed. Monitor study patients and provide appropriate nursing services; review and evaluate health status, lab findings and reactions; oversee accurate records, maintain and implement research protocols, develop policies, and procedures and submission of trials. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year Clinical Research experience. Education/Licensure/Certifications:BSN requiredCurrent licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), specifically Health Care Provider, certification.Additional competencies may be required by the work location.This is a grant‑funded position, in whole or part. Communicate with physicians / charge nurse / co - workers, as appropriate regarding changes in the patient's treatment, clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies. Has the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Qualifications Education and Work Experience Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state. BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. Previous Wound care knowledge and or experience preferred (1 Year). Wound Care Certification within first year of hire.
