What You’ll Do: 

  • Deliver high-quality urgent care to patients within clinical guidelines and state regulations
  • Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to provide seamless, efficient care
  • Help patients avoid unnecessary ER visits by offering accessible, non-emergency medical treatment 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting 
  • Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals. Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic 
  • Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan 
  • Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner
  • Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals 
  • Maintains accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record 
  • Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care 
  • Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review 
  • Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director

  • Active and unrestricted NP or PA license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
  • DEA license or willingness to obtain
