Job Summary:
Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a 513-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Syracuse, New York, is seeking a talented Weekend Warrior Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team! As a Weekend Warrior Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide exceptional care to our residents while collaborating with our team of nursing and medical staff on evenings, nights, and weekends. Responsibilities:
Lead and provide direction and supervision of clinical operations, ancillary nursing personnel, and residents
Collaborate with a team of nursing and medical staff on evenings, nights, and weekends
Use professional judgment and problem-solving skills to assure quality of care for residents
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Provide direct patient care, including administration of medications, treatments, and procedures
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and education programs
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
CPR certification
Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation, long-term care, or related healthcare setting (recommended)
Knowledge of theory, practice, and principles of clinical care (recommended)
Knowledge of CMS guidelines and DOH reporting and investigation standards (recommended)
