How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Lead Clinical Operations: Support daily nursing operations in a skilled nursing facility by providing hands-on clinical leadership, assisting with resident care on the floor as needed, and ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care at all times.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance & Quality: Conduct clinical audits, monitor quality indicators, and maintain compliance with CMS, state, and federal long-term care regulations while driving continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Recruit, Develop & Retain Nursing Staff: Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and ongoing staff education to build a strong, engaged nursing team.
  • Support Resident Care & Team Success: Oversee admissions, discharges, and transfers, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate clinical policies and best practices, and step in to support floor staff whenever needed to ensure exceptional resident outcomes.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • BLS Provider preferred. 

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Assist in developing a written plan of care for each customer that identifies the problems/needs of the customer and be able to evaluate the delivery of care. Attends and actively participate in customer care plan conference. Consult with other nurses, management, and other related health professionals to assist in assessing, planning, and delivering and evaluating patient care. Plan, conduct and participate in In-service Education Programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and courses. Make written and oral reports including recommendations concerning the wound care program. Ensure that the wound assessment and monthly summaries reflects that the care plan is being followed.
