American Traveler is hiring an RN for Cath Lab/EP with at least 24 months of Cath experience and Trauma Level II background, requiring an active Iowa or compact RN license. Job details: - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP department in a Trauma Level II facility - Day shift schedule of 7a-5p, 4x10s Monday-Friday with a rotating day off (non-blocked) - 40 hours per week - On-call requirement of 1-2 nights per week - Every 3rd weekend on-call from 7:30p Friday through 7a Monday - Rare weekend case assignments possible - May float across nearby campuses as needed - Uses Epic EMR Requirements: - Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license required at time of submission - BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or ARC required - Minimum 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required - Circulating and monitoring experience required - Trauma Level II experience required - Trauma Level I experience preferred - Structural heart experience highly preferred - EP experience highly preferred - Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred - Scrubbing experience preferred - Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab/CC required - Driver's license required for consideration - Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred Additional information: - May be asked to precept as needed - Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed - Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving) - Limited to 1 day off request during the periods of 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 - Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for submission - Local radius rules vary by hospital
