Job Summary : The Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients with acute and chronic infectious diseases across inpatient and outpatient settings. The NP collaborates closely with infectious disease physicians, hospitalists, primary care providers, pharmacists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and monitor patients with complex conditions. The role includes hospital rounds, outpatient clinic visits, care coordination, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives. The APRN works closely with sponsoring Physicians, Medical Staff, Management Council, Department Heads, Clinic Manager, Hospital Associates, defined customers, and the general public.
