Job Responsibilities Implementing best practice nursing care in post-acute residents in nearby areas Monitoring the conditions of residents and providing updates to the nursing team Measuring and documenting the basic vital signs of residents Helping residents with grooming, feeding, toileting, and other basic activities of daily living (ADLs) Promoting a clean and safe environment by ensuring best practices in hygiene and by clearing areas of hazards Transporting residents around the facility and assisting them with other movements, as needed during the day Interacting with residents on a daily basis to keep them engaged, provide comfort, and build trusting relationships Being accountable to follow and adhere to care plans for residents and all applicable rules, regulations, and policies Bridging communications between, and among, staff and residents (and their family members) Qualifications and Skills Current Connecticut Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Ability to lift at least 50 lbs Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing care procedures Strong attention to detail Effective communication and social skills Get the Work-Life Balance You Deserve Want to build a satisfying career that won't burn you out?
