REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - CHILD/ADOLESCENT 7 AM - 7 PM

Responsibilities

Rolling Hills Hospital is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to add to our growing team.

 

At Rolling Hills, our mission is to offer compassionate, safe, effective behavioral healthcare treatment.  We use solution-focused strategies and diligently strive for a safe and positive environment for patients, families, and employees.  We never forget that we provide care and comfort to people in need. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.  Provides medical management and assessment of patients; ensures environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population; directs the implementation of behavior management programs and ensures consistent carry-through.  Is responsible for making the patient and task assignments to subordinates and monitors their duties.  The Registered Nurse provides training and education to staff, patients, families; documents patient care and ensures data is accurate and included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates.  Works with the treatment team to provide consistently therapeutic milieu.

Available Shift - Full-time, Days, 7 AM to 7 PM

Shift Differential Rates: $4/hr nights, $3/hr weekend days, $7/hr weekend nights

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee required
  • Nursing experience in the behavioral health field preferred
  • One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred
  • CPR certification (training provided)
  • Handle with Care (HWC) certification (training provided)
