Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with the lead school nurse to manage the health office and deliver essential medical support for students during school hours, 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday
- Administer medication, respond to health needs and assist with day-to-day care plans
- Provide substitute PCA or 1:1 support for two designated students as needed, ensuring continuity of care when primary aides are absent
- Assist the nurse with diabetic management for a particular student, championing a safe and supportive environment
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with state regulations and school protocols
