Job Duties
- Specialize in the administration of medications, fluids, and blood through injections into patients' veins using multiple access methods.
- Conduct direct and indirect age-appropriate patient assessments.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients/families in care planning.
- Report patient status to physicians and obtain necessary care orders.
- Provide age-appropriate patient and family education.
- Accommodate individual learning needs of patients.
- Educate and mentor students, novice nurses, and peers.
- Promote educational opportunities for self and others.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) license from Idaho or compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
