  • UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Must maintain current Texas RN License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certified (within 90 days of hire)
  • Trauma Certification Course (TNCC, ATLS, TCAR within 1 year of hire)

This includes both Cardiovascular studies/interventions as well as Special Procedure studies/interventions. The patient population contains adults, and geriatric patients. Ionizing Radiation is utilized to perform these studies as well as other imaging modalities. On-Call is required and the employee must be able to respond and arrive in the Cath Lab within 30 minutes. The Registered nurse is responsible for direct patient care during the procedure. Qualifications Job Requirements: Must maintain current Texas RN License.
