What You’ll Do & What We’re Looking For

At Right at Home, we have a strong team culture and are looking for individuals who are dependable, compassionate, approachable, and professional. You should be comfortable communicating with people from all walks of life, listening carefully, making good decisions, and keeping the client’s needs at the center of everything you do.
Our ideal caregivers take pride in their work, maintain a positive attitude, and are resourceful, accountable, and adaptable. You are someone who can remain calm under pressure, take initiative when needed, and handle challenges with professionalism. Integrity is important to you, and you understand the importance of doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
This is a hands-on caregiving position. Responsibilities may include assisting clients with activities of daily living such as:
Bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene
Oral, skin, and hair care
Dressing and grooming
Ambulation and mobility assistance
Eating and meal assistance
Light housekeeping
Household tasks and chores
Other personal care needs based on the client’s care plan
You do not need to be a professional chef, but you should be comfortable preparing basic meals and helping clients safely navigate their kitchen.
Requirements
Prior experience working as a CNA or caregiver providing care for adults or seniors
A compassionate and respectful approach to caring for individuals who are ill, aging, or in need of assistance
Ability to successfully meet the physical and emotional demands of providing direct client care
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as necessary to perform the job
Valid driver’s license, car insurance and vehicle
Ability to pass a background check
