We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and dependable Full-Time Activities Assistant to join our long-term care facility team in Auglaize County!

The Activities Assistant helps create a fun, engaging, and welcoming environment for our residents by assisting with daily activities, special events, games, crafts, outings, and other recreational programs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with seniors and wants to make a positive impact each day.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and leading daily resident activities and programs

  • Encourage resident participation and engagement

  • Help with games, crafts, music, social events, holiday celebrations, and special programs

  • Assist with resident outings and group activities

  • Provide one-on-one activities for residents as needed

  • Help prepare activity areas and supplies

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members

  • Support the Activities Director with additional department needs

Requirements

  • Previous experience in long-term care, senior living, activities, recreation, or a similar setting preferred

  • Friendly, outgoing, creative, and comfortable engaging with residents

  • Dependable with strong communication and organizational skills

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Weekend and holiday availability as needed
