Position Overview

We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide nursing support in school settings throughout Fredericksburg, VA. Multiple openings are available, and assignments are fluid based on current student needs.

LPNs should be comfortable supporting students with a variety of medical and personal care needs and be flexible with different assignments, including bus riding.

Responsibilities

Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include:

Providing nursing care and support to students throughout the school day
Administering and monitoring seizure treatments
Providing diabetic care and monitoring
Assisting with G-tube care and feeding
Supporting students with tracheostomies and related care needs
Assisting with toileting and diapering
Providing nursing support during student transportation/bus rides
Monitoring student health and responding to medical needs as they arise
Communicating with school staff and families regarding student care
