We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one nursing support to a student in a school setting near Leesburg, VA. This position offers a consistent MondayFriday schedule at a single school site.

Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM3:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
School Assignment: 1 school site

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care and support to a student throughout the school day
Ride the school bus with the student each day and provide nursing support during transportation
Monitor for seizure activity and recognize changes in the student's condition
Provide seizure first aid as needed
Administer nasal rescue medication according to the student's care plan
Communicate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as appropriate
Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care and interventions
Follow all school and student-specific health and safety protocols

Qualifications

Current Virginia LPN license
School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
Experience with seizure monitoring and seizure first aid
Comfortable administering nasal rescue medication
Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
Comfortable providing care during school bus transportation
