School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Dacula, GA

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active GA LPN license
  • Prior experience working one-on-one with students or in a school-based LPN/LVN role is strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to ride the school bus as required for student transportation
  • Compassion, adaptability, and professionalism in a school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized nursing care and supervision to assigned student throughout the school day and during bus transportation
  • Monitor medical needs, administer medications, and carry out health care procedures as directed by the student’s plan of care
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support the student’s well-being and educational success
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and communicate any concerns or changes in condition promptly
