Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Practice Nurse to join the Practice Management team! Description: The Practice Nurse assists in the management of patient care provided in the practice. Coordinates patient flow and ensures care is delivered safely, effectively, and efficiently. Interviews patients and takes medical history, gives injections, completes lab x-ray requests, keeps charts current and screens calls within the practice/provider's guidelines. Administers prescribed medications and performs simple treatment as directed by the provider. The Practice Nurse duties are performed within framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center policies and procedures and current professional standards. Transitions between practices and performs other duties as needed.
