Position Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support a 6th-grade female student in Middleboro, MA. This is a part-time school nursing opportunity focused on student transportation and providing safe, consistent medical support throughout the school day.

Caseload & Responsibilities

  • Support one 6th-grade female student who is nonverbal and diabetic.
  • Provide nursing care during transportation to and from school.
  • Monitor and support the student's insulin pump.
  • Build a trusting relationship with the student, who is easygoing once comfortable with her nurse.
  • School will provide onsite nursing responsibilities if the student is absent.

Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts RN license.
  • Experience working with insulin pumps is required.
  • School-based or pediatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable providing 1:1 student support.
