About the Role

Aspire Senior Living Oak Grove is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on our evening shift. Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including assessing their needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to address their physical and emotional needs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor residents' responses to medications and treatments
Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the Charge Nurse or other healthcare team members
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure that residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including medication administration, treatment plans, and progress notes
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve the care we provide

Requirements

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Missouri
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field preferred
Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting; experience with elder care population preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare team members
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion
