Requirements for Nursing Supervisor:

Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN/RN MA License and current CPR certification
Registered Nurse (preferred)
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting. Must have minimum of one year experience in long-term care.
Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills.
Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.

Job Duties for Nursing Supervisor:

Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges
Supervise nurses and CNAs
Manage staffing changes
Support family inquiries and screen visitors
Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions
Ensure high-quality resident/patient care
Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
