This full-time role spans 35 hours per week from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, providing vital healthcare services to school communities district-wide. With an immediate start through June 25, 2027, youll play an integral part in maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment for students.

What youll bring:

• Valid NJ School Nurse RN licensure (LPNs not eligible)
• Demonstrated experience in a school-based nursing setting
• Confidence overseeing medical services for entire school buildings
• Ability to manage and service a varied caseload throughout the district
• Comfort and adaptability working closely with diverse school teams
• Willingness to commute reliably and remain accessible to multiple sites
• Completion of TB screening, physical exam, and fingerprinting for both agency and district onboarding

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students and staff, responding to urgent and routine medical needs
• Maintain detailed health records and ensure strict confidentiality and compliance
• Coordinate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student well-being plans
• Implement health protocols and communicate clearly regarding school health policies
• Conduct health screenings and promote wellness initiatives throughout the buildings
