What Our RN’s Do

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting. You will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, monitor progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and wellness. You'll also help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment while providing leadership and support to fellow nursing team members.

 

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to medical and behavioral health needs.
  • Safely administer medications and provide patient education regarding treatment plans.
  • Accurately document patient care, progress, and clinical observations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
  • Respond to crisis situations and promote a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and quality outcomes.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or eligible Compact RN License.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous inpatient hospital or behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
