Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support our physicians and clinical team in the Department of Ears, Nose, and Throat. Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

Assist physicians and clinical team during scheduled clinic hours, ensuring efficient patient flow and support.
Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, and update health information in the electronic health record (EHR).
Coordinate diagnostic tests, procedures, and referrals as applicable.
Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms and clinical areas.
Monitor, record, and report equipment safety checks and temperature logs in compliance with clinic protocols.
Clean, handle, and maintain endoscopes and other medical instruments following established procedures.
Manage and route electronic faxes, physical mail, and incoming correspondence in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications:

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
CPR certification required or must become certified within 60 days of employment
Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred, but not required.
Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.
Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
