Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa’s Department of Vascular Surgery is seeking a fulltime RN to join our team of dedicated professionals. Primary duties for this position include but are not limited to: Schedule patient appointments and procedures. Record and maintaining records of vitals and other pertinent patient health data. Preparing and assisting with in-office vein procedures and angiograms. Provide patient education on pre-op testing and education. Manage patient communication, including returning phone calls and answering questions. Manage and process referral buckets and clinical work queues. Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa. Prefer experience in a medical office performing similar functions. CPR certification is required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork. Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality. Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems. Certified Nursing Assistant

Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Patient care including rooming patients and updating information in the EMR. Provide assistance to providers/nursing staff. Stocking and maintenance of rooms. Assist with casting and suture/staple removal, as needed. Support nursing staff with clerical work such as faxing and scanning paperwork for internal and external use. Qualifications: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred, but not required. Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork. Infusion RN - Rheumatology

Our Rheumatology Department is currently seeking a full time Infusion RN to deliver care that is second to none in our high volume-fast paced practice. Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Clinic Duties include: Assisting with procedures Preparing and administering injections Following up on and recording test results Providing patient education Completing prior authorizations for treatments and diagnostic testing Screening calls for physicians and answering patient questions Infusion Duties include: Performing initial and ongoing patient assessments prior to and during each infusion to ensure patients are free of infection, adverse reactions, or other complications Performing venipuncture using aseptic technique and maintaining sterility of the closed IV system Educating patients on IV therapy and the infusion process Preparing IV medications according to drug reconstitution protocols Administering medications per manufacturer guidelines Assisting with clinical drug study infusions as needed Qualifications: Current RN license is required. Experience providing infusion treatment, preferred. BLS required or must obtain within the first 60 days of employment. Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems. Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
