This Provider will provide services by performing the following duties: Performs medical examinations and evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up, consultation, and health education. Obtains patient histories and develops patient care charts, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Provides health education to families, and/or community health practitioners and groups within area of specialty. Support quality care and positive patient outcomes for general Hematology Oncology patients. Qualifications: Current, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license or Physician Assistant license. Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Clinical expertise in the management of acute and chronic conditions related to cancer and blood disorders, preferred. Previous oncology experience and oncology certification preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills. Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems. Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
