Expected pay for this position is $55.20 - $63.65/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.


Overview

JOB SPECIFICS

  • Evaluation and management of acute work-related injuries and illnesses. 

  • Serves as Medical Examiner for preplacement and DOT physical examinations. 

  • Collaborates with employers, employees, and other healthcare professionals to promote healthy work environments and prevent occupational illnesses and injuries.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
  • Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in occ health, primary care, urgent care or a related field is preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
