Responsibilities:

Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, in accordance with their individual care plans
Monitor residents' vital signs, track their progress, and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in conversations, reading, and other activities
Assist with mealtime, including feeding and hydration, and ensure that residents' nutritional needs are met
Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, adhering to infection control practices and protocols
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Document resident information, progress, and concerns in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Massachusetts
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with residents, families, and colleagues
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
