School Registered Nurse (RN) in Big Lake, MN

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to a student with individualized health needs, from pick-up at home, during transport, throughout the shortened school day, and on the return trip
  • Monitor for changes in medical status, document nursing interventions, and communicate any needs to parents and school staff
  • Ensure safety and comfort for the student at all times
  • Work approximately 22 hours each week, Monday through Friday, typically 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM
  • Engage in ongoing communication with the special education team, caregivers, and other related service providers
  • Participate in virtual interviews as requested by the district
