Provides direct nursing care including assessment, plan of care, education, and evaluation for assigned patients.  Performs patient duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care as well as coordinates the delivery of care provided by other care team members and disciplines.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Clinical Nurse II - Critical Care role provides direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act for assigned patients in a critical care unit including Neuro ICU, CCU, and Sub ICU. The nurse collaborates with other disciplines of the health care team to ensure the delivery of safe, timely and appropriate quality patient care. This includes providing physical assessments, nursing interventions, pain management, medication administrations, specimen collection, meeting nutritional needs, and teaching and discharge needs of the patients assigned.
