As part of the nonprofit Givens Communities, Givens Aldersgate At Home supports residents within our communities and the surrounding Mecklenburg  area so you can truly get to know the people you support. As a Home Care Aide and Companion, you'll have the opportunity to get to know your clients one-on-one, helping them live a healthy, happy, and safe life at home. 

We’re looking for PRN Home Care Aide and Companion's to float roughly 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, with every other weekend required. We have also started offering some 12-hour overnight shifts. This department supports our Givens Aldersgate campus, as well as off campus clients in the greater Charlotte community.

What you'll do:

  • Provide Companionship and emotional support 
  • Assist with daily tasks (ADLs & IADLs) like errands, meals, and housekeeping
  • Support clients with household organization and routines
  • Communicate updates to the care team
  • Document visits and follow care plans

What you'll need:

  • Must have an active, unencumbered drivers license
  • Ability to assist with mobility and daily tasks
  • Current CPR Certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience preferred, but not require

    Compensation is $14.00-$15.00 per hour based on experience, plus shift differentials!
