Job Summary

The Medical Assistant is an unlicensed healthcare professional who performs routine technical services within the medical practice settings under the supervision of the physicians and medical staff. This role is also responsible for supporting the front and back office clinic operations.

Pay Range

Minimum $23.00 Midpoint $23.00 Maximum $24.00

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

* Required: Minimum one (1) year of experience in front and back office pediatric medical office/clinic setting.

Education

* Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Graduate of a vocational school having successfully completed requirements for MA.

* Required: Knowledge and ability to provide appropriate patient care depending on age, cultural, and spiritual needs. Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards.
