Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts
  • Previous pediatric experience or experience providing care to children/adolescents
  • Familiarity with 1:1 care for students with medical or special needs preferred
  • Comfortable working in a school setting and collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
  • Strong assessment, communication, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and student needs
  • Current CPR and BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering comprehensive 1:1 nursing care for assigned students across designated grade levels, including medication administration, monitoring, and support for chronic health conditions
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to provide clear care instructions and support for students within the classroom environment
  • Maintaining thorough, accurate records of student care and health interventions
  • Responding promptly to medical emergencies and acting as a resource for student and staff health concerns
  • Educating students and families regarding health plans and promoting wellness in the school community
