RN Wound Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Provide wound care and treatment to residents

  • Assess, monitor, and document wounds and skin conditions

  • Develop and follow individualized wound care treatment plans

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team

  • Educate and support nursing staff on wound prevention and proper wound care practices

Qualifications & Experience Requirements for RN Wound Nurse:

People in the IRIS program who need personal care services have the choice to enroll in the IRIS Self-Directed Personal Care (IRIS SPDC) option. While this role is home-based, you will have regularly scheduled visits with people in their homes and communities.
