What You'll Do

The Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN) provides specialized nursing care to acutely ill and medically complex patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced therapeutic interventions. Utilizing expertise in hemodynamic monitoring, critical care therapies, and evidence-based practice, the ICU RN assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates comprehensive patient care throughout the continuum of treatment.Working collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, the ICU RN serves as a patient advocate while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • Active, current, and unencumbered Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California 
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  •  AHA Basic Life Support
  • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support 
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  •  One (1) year previous critical care nursing experience or completion of a 6-week critical care training course
  • Preferred 
  • CCRN Certification 


Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Our organization follows an in person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a weekly basis. The hospital is located at 14662 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780.
  • The total compensation target pay range for this role is $44.00 - $55.00 hourly. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
  • 12-hour shift = 8 hours at base rate.  Hours over 8 in a 12-hour shift are 1.5x base
